Not-so-common common areas. Unless you've booked out the entire space for yourself, the Arete Hotel has multiple common areas including the living/dining room, kitchen, & laundry. There's a wrap around porch with covered outside seating, and 3 acres to run around on. 

The Arete features a fully equipped kitchen with both an induction and gas stovetop, plus an electric griddle for versatile cooking. It includes a 36" oven, a 12" oven, and a 12" steam oven. You'll also find a microwave, coffee machine, pressure cooker, refrigerator, dishwasher, stand mixer, and toaster oven. The kitchen is stocked with a full set of pots, pans, and utensils. There's a washer and dryer on the bottom floor (typically closed from 11am - 3pm for turnover)

Extra features: 1080p projector with Roku streaming, automated lighting, and house plants!

For the climbers trying to stay fit while waiting out the occasional rain storm, there's a 98% chance we will have a 12'x12' Tension Board 2 set up in the future. Stay tuned!

 There's whole home radiant floor heat and 1-gig fiber optic internet. Personal heating and cooling for each room. 

As mentioned above... You and your four new best friends get to hangout in this mixed dorm-style shared room! Each bed has a privacy curtain, personal white-noise machine/fan/reading light, and under bed storage. There's also a changing room in the corner for the wild ones that prefer to change clothes while standing up. 

For extra special items there are lockers available at the front entry.

Bathroom is shared with the private room next door.  

A spacious private room on the main level, featuring a cozy sitting area and a closet. The bathroom is shared with the mixed dorm-style room next door. For added comfort, the room includes a white-noise machine, ceiling fan, and radiant floor heating.

You’ll have the entire 3rd floor to yourself!* The suite features a spacious, well-lit office/lounge area with stunning 3-story views of the property, large desk area, and a small kitchenette. Enjoy a private bath with dual vanities and a separate shower and toilet. The bedroom offers a cozy queen bed and soft cove lighting, creating the perfect ambiance for relaxation.

*If you decide to share the 3rd floor, the lounge are in the office quickly converts to a queen sized bed*

Our sewing and craft areas are arranged for smooth workflow and comfort. The first floor includes eight sewing stations with individual lighting and shared power towers; the second floor adds three more. A dedicated cutting station, two ironing setups, and a full 4'×8' design wall provide room for larger projects. A projector with Roku is available for demonstrations or relaxed evenings.

We can host 8–11 guests comfortably. The space includes five single dorm beds, each with its own light, fan, and sound machine, along with two quiet queen bedrooms and an additional queen sectional. There are four showers and four toilets, all clean and easy to share.

Guests have access to fresh linens and towels, hair dryers, and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The professional kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, utensils, and essential ingredients such as oils and spices. Appliances include a stand mixer, pressure cooker, kettle, blender, toaster oven, Keurig, and Moccamaster. Coffee and tea are always available. A laundry area with washing powder, a projector with Roku, and a selection of card and board games add comfort during longer stays.

The Arete is quiet and tucked into nature, yet close to town conveniences. Quilt shops are located within an hour and a half, and groceries, restaurants, Walmart, Lowe’s, and a cinema are all within a short 5–10 minute drive.

We offer tent camping in the yard. Firepit, open air, and trees. You also get full access to the bathrooms, kitchen, and communal areas!

Much like the tent camping... but your tent is a car! You can sleep in your van but  also get full access to the bathrooms, kitchen, and communal areas!!
